Biography

Intrigued by acting since the age of 4 (when she starred as a “Dalmatian” in a pre-school play)… Elena wasn’t actually able to take advantage of her talents or passion for acting until she became an adult. Her parents, originally from Argentina and whom she credits today for being bi-lingual English/Spanish, wouldn’t allow her do any “acting” because they weren’t familiar with the process. They did, however, let Elena get involved with some print modeling, which led to tons of teen modeling and runway shows for department stores! Her mother said “she always took advantage of getting in front of the camera!”

The benefits of growing up in the multi-cultural and diverse suburbs of Washington, D.C. definitely paid off for her! Elena’s wide acting range and quick wit comes naturally. It even helped her land her first TV “hosting” role for “Diver(C)ity”… which went on to win a Regional Emmy Award!

Her dream of going to “Hollywood” was then only a drive away. Soon after arriving in Los Angeles, Elena went on to book several more hosting spots including the 1st Annual Mr. Latino America on Telemundo and a series regular hosting role as one of the “Kande Girls” for BET’s “The Way We Do It”. She also kept busy booking numerous national and regional commercials including Fidelity Investments, Toyota, Bud Light & Kellogg’s to name a few. She’s also proud to add Bold & the Beautiful, Judging Amy and Half & Half to her television credits.

Since Elena’s family relocated to Florida, she really enjoys being labeled a “bi-coastal talent” and having residences in both Los Angeles and Tampa. Feeling incredibly blessed and having the best of both worlds… she continues to pursue her love of acting and strives to always take it to the next level.
